WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IN TUSCANY?
Observing people and their culture, being aware of the environment where they live: a respectful approach.
Here is one of my favorite little-known tips:
In Italy you can eat delicious seasonal food throughout the year. So if you have an accommodation with a kitchen, consider buying only food grown in Italy or – better – in Tuscany.
How was it produced? And where?
Visiting a farm is always interesting!
Learning about local traditions, culture and foods.
I can help you understand the culture you’re immersing yourself in, can help you think about specific walks and visits: To wine or cheese producers or to olive oil farms.
We can visit them together, I can translate or just show you the more interesting ones.
(But I am also open to any suggestions you may have …)
Also you may like to consider taking a course or seminar while you’re in Tuscany, whether for one day or a week.
