MONTEPULCIANO

This summer’s Italian Language Courses will take place in the Agriturismo Cognanello close to  Montepulciano.

Montepulciano is definitely worth a stay. Visitors can learn not only a lot about history and the Renaissance, but also a lot about wine, because the small town is famous for its ‘Vino Nobile di Montepulciano’.

Typically, the Italian Language Courses are run for individuals or small groups of two or three participants.

Classes usually take place in the morning for two hours (or three, if desired). In the afternoon you can relax (and enjoy the scenery!), go horse riding, feed the farm animals, take cooking classes, go hiking or do other activities offered by the farm.

The “Passeggiate in italiano” are of particular interest. If you like, you have the opportunity to go on a walking tour in the Renaissance city of Montepulciano and to get to know the most beautiful palazzi (and other sights).

Classes start on Mondays, from April to October, whichever is best for you.

The prices of the language courses are as follows:

  • The week-long Italian Language Course (two hours in the morning for 5 days) costs 250 euros.
  • The week-long course with three hours a day – with a break of about 15 minutes – costs 350 euros.
  • The “Passeggiate in italiano” cost 50 euros per person (80 euros for 2 participants – and last about two hours).

The stay at the Agriturismo Cognanello, as well as all other activities offered by the Agriturismo, should be arranged by email with Ms. Chiara Giorgi, who manages the farm.
